Накоплено много информации о специфической функции каждого гормона, изменения которой наблюдали после удаления железы и ее гормональной компенсации. Основой позиции эндокринологов в данной ситуации является тот факт, что удаление железы устраняет многие физиологические и поведенческие ответы в зависимости от секреторной функции в этой железе. Для восстановления специфического ответа необходима заместительная терапия соответствующим гормоном. Однако исследователи заходят в тупик, когда нейротрансмиттерные факторы или факторы роста, действуя через свои собственные мембранные рецепторы, способны заменить влияние стероидных гормонов и активируют рецепторы стероидов за счет вторичных мессенджеров, даже в отсутствие стероидных гормонов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Among endocrinologists, it is generally accepted that most of the effects of steroid hormones are transmitted to the cell through their receptors located on intracellular sites, mainly on the nuclei of cells, and these mechanisms are intensively studied. A lot of information has been accumulated about the specific function of each hormone, changes of which were observed after removal of the gland and its hormonal compensation. The basis of the position of endocrinologists in this situation is the fact that the removal of the gland eliminates many physiological and behavioral responses depending on the secretory function in this gland. To restore a specific response, replacement therapy with the appropriate hormone is necessary.
