Он является стимулятором секреции гормона роста (СГР), способствуя высвобождению ГР путем активации так называемых рецепторов СГР. Эти рецепторы преимущественно сконцентрированы в гипоталамо-гипофизарной области, но также встречаются в других тканях, что объясняет широкий диапазон действия СГР, включающий стимуляцию секреции ГР, пролактина и адренокортикотропного гормона (АКТГ); влияние на сон и поведение, увеличение аппетита и положительный энергетический баланс; диабетогенный эффект на обмен углеводов, контроль желудочной секреции и перистальтики. Кроме того, в опытах неоднократно показано позитивное инотропное действие грелина на сердце, вазодилатацию, клеточную пролиферацию.</p><p>Широкий биологический спектр действия грелина делает перспективным его изучение и применение новых знаний в различных областях медицины: эндокринологии, гастроэнтерологии, иммунологии, онкологии и кардиологии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Ghrelin is a peptide consisting of 28 amino acid residues that is secreted in the stomach and to a lesser extent in other organs. It is a stimulant of growth hormone secretion (GHS), promoting the release of GH by activating the so-called GHS-receptors. These receptors are predominantly concentrated in the hypothalamic-pituitary region, but are also found in other tissues, which explains the wide range of effects of GHR, including stimulation of the secretion of GH, prolactin and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH); effects on sleep and behavior, increased appetite and a positive energy balance; diabetic effect on carbohydrate metabolism, control of gastric secretion and peristalsis. In addition, the experiments have repeatedly shown the positive inotropic effect of ghrelin on the heart, vasodilation, and cell proliferation.</p><p>The wide biological spectrum of action of ghrelin makes it promising to study and apply new knowledge in various fields of medicine: endocrinology, gastroenterology, immunology, oncology and cardiology.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>грелин</kwd><kwd>регуляция</kwd><kwd>гормон роста</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ghrelin</kwd><kwd>regulation</kwd><kwd>a growth hormone</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Adeghate E., Ponery A.
