Эти препараты относятся к секретогенам инсулина и основное их сахароснижающее действие связано со стимуляцией образования и высвобождения инсулина из островков поджелудочной железы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Sulfonylureas are the main group of drugs used to treat type II diabetes mellitus.
