В состав этого суперсемейства, как теперь установлено, входит более 300 изоформ, способных катализировать по крайней мере 60 типов энзиматических реакций с сотнями тысяч химических структур [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit39">39</xref>]. Это суперсемейство цитохрома Р-450 эволюционно очень древнее и, по имеющимся расчетам, существует в живой природе более 3,5 млрд лет [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit39">39</xref>].</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>All living creatures from the microbe to humans are endowed with heme-containing enzymes belonging to the superfamily of cytochrome P-450. This superfamily, as has now been established, includes more than 300 isoforms capable of catalyzing at least 60 types of enzymatic reactions with hundreds of thousands of chemical structures [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit39">39</xref>].
