Во многих регионах мира вне зависимости от наличия йодной эндемии на протяжении последних трех десятилетий регистрируется устойчивый рост тиреоидной патологии. Учитывая же неблагоприятную экологическую ситуацию, которая характерна сегодня для большинства стран, можно думать о том, что тенденция эта сохранится и проблемы состояния щитовидной железы займут место в ряду наиболее актуальных и значимых в современной клинической медицине.
Естественным следствием этого является все возрастающий интерес ученых и практических врачей эндокринологов к вопросам ранней диагностики и мониторинга, этиологии и эпидемиологии заболеваний щитовидной железы.
В настоящем исследовании нами была проведена оценка состояния щитовидной железы с целью эпидемиологического анализа частоты различных форм зоба у 5423 человек, проживающих в 18 районах Херсонской области.
In many regions of the world, regardless of the presence of iodine endemic, a steady increase in thyroid pathology has been recorded over the past three decades. Given the unfavorable environmental situation that is typical for most countries today, one can think that this trend will continue and problems of the state of the thyroid gland will take place among the most relevant and significant in modern clinical medicine.
A natural consequence of this is the growing interest of scientists and practitioners of endocrinologists in the issues of early diagnosis and monitoring, the etiology and epidemiology of thyroid diseases.
In this study, we assessed the state of the thyroid gland with the aim of epidemiological analysis of the frequency of various forms of goiter in 5423 people living in 18 districts of Kherson region.
