Метформин - единственный пероральный сахароснижающий препарат, разрешенный к применению у детей с СД2. Представлены результаты использования разных терапевтических тактик у детей и подростков с СД2.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The increasingly higher incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) in the children and adolescent populations implies the necessity of analysis of the effectiveness of currently available therapeutic modalities bearing in mind more aggressive specific complications of the disease in these groups of patients compared with the adult ones. Metformin is the sole oral hypoglycemic agent approved for the use in the children and adolescents with DM2.
