An attempt at systematization of anomalies of the testis (Russian)

Abstract

Data of mass examination of 3,050 boys and surgical treatment of 95 patients with cryptorchism are summarized. On the basis of testicular biopsies, surgical findings, intravenous pyelograms and roentgenographs of the sella turcica, some classification and terminology of dystopias of the testis are subjected to critical analysis. A personal classification of anomalies of the testis is suggested. Tasks aimed at in the study of the problem of cryptorchism are formulated.
